01 / INTRODUCTIONNATAN CHRIS SHERAFIDO

An engineering perspective on a changing energy landscape.

My path began in power plant engineering technology, with exposure to energy systems, electrical site work, and project coordination. Today, I’m developing my focus in corporate greenhouse gas accounting and decarbonization.

I’m interested in the work behind a credible emissions number: tracing activity data, choosing and documenting factors, testing assumptions, and showing where uncertainty remains. My independent GHG reconstruction is one example of that approach.

More about my background

Where I’m building depth.

01 / ANALYZE

GHG accounting & emissions analysis

Activity data, emission factor mapping, transparent assumptions, and Scope 1 and 2 reconstruction.

02 / UNDERSTAND

Energy systems & transition

Grounding emissions analysis in power generation, energy use, and practical efficiency opportunities.

03 / COMMUNICATE

Data & technical reporting

Excel-based models, QA and reconciliation, and reporting that makes methods and limits visible.
